Description

Pokemon Chaos Black Recreated is a fan-made ROM hack based on the original Pokemon FireRed game. It is known for introducing original, fan-created Pokemon called Fakemon. The game takes place in two new regions, Magore and Beaulés, and features a unique storyline involving time travel. While the gameplay is similar to FireRed, it offers a fresh experience with new Pokemon, updated maps, and new events.

This project is a respectful rebuild of the infamous Chaos Black, designed to reflect what it was truly meant to be—a full new adventure in a new region, not just a slightly edited FireRed with Fakemon. Since the original creator didn’t leave complete documentation, this version is based on the game’s intro text and any surviving descriptions to recreate the intended experience.

It’s not an exact replica, and some parts may differ from what was seen online. The goal is to preserve Chaos Black as a proper Pokemon adventure with its own story, setting, and identity—so it can be remembered the way it was originally imagined.

Glimpse of Storyline

Long ago, the four Pokegods were sealed inside special items called Legend Balls.

Now, hundreds of years later, they’ve been found again—this time in Beaulés, a region west of Magore. A powerful figure named Eseal, heir to the Se Corp empire, is searching for them. After the fall of Team Soul, nothing stands in his way. If he gets the Pokegods, no one will be able to stop him.

But your journey is just beginning.

Follow in your sister’s footsteps, become a Pokemon Master, and maybe… even save the world.

Full Features

  • Two New Regions: Explore Magore with 8 Gyms and Beaulés with 6 Gyms.
  • Over 40 Fakemon: Includes more than 30 from the original Chaos Black Alpha 1, 3 discovered from the creator’s videos, and 10+ newly designed for variety.
  • Beta Pokemon: Features some unused or “beta” Pokemon from leaked demo versions of Gold/Silver, Ruby/Sapphire, and Diamond/Pearl.
  • Time Travel Storyline: A key part of the plot involves traveling through different points in time.
  • Classic Gameplay Style: Designed to feel like the original Pokemon FireRed experience.
  • Redone Maps: All maps from the original Chaos Black beta are being redesigned for improved exploration.
  • Updated Pokemon: Some existing Pokemon have new stats and entirely new sprites to feel more unique.
  • New In-Game Events: Additional story-driven events have been added throughout both regions.
  • Possible New Music: New custom music tracks may be included.
  • Companion Version Cancelled: A planned alternate version called “Justice White” was once in development but has since been scrapped.
  • Cosmetic Additions: Includes Pokemon-themed clothing for added customization.
