Description
Pokemon Awful is a quirky and humorous FireRed ROM hack that takes the familiar world of Pokemon and flips it on its head with a hilarious twist. The game reimagines classic Pokemon sprites into goofy, offbeat versions, creating a brand-new Pokedex that’s as strange as it is entertaining. While the hack’s current demo may not be packed with an overwhelming amount of content, it offers a charming, lighthearted take on the original, with its low-effort yet comically memorable fakemon designs.
Unlike some overly ambitious hacks that get stuck in development limbo, Pokemon Awful embraces simplicity and fun, ensuring that you can actually play and enjoy it from start to finish. Who knows what future updates might bring, but for now, it’s a nostalgic yet silly adventure you won’t want to miss!

Game Progress
The game is still in beta because, while it is technically completed, it doesn’t yet represent the full vision the developers have for it. In their eyes, it’s more of a demo than a finished product. The core experience is there, with key trainer battles and important locations modified, but many other aspects—like generic trainer dialogues—remain unchanged. Since these elements haven’t been fully fleshed out, the game is still considered incomplete.
