Description

This game is a fan-made remake of the Sevii Islands, created using the HGSS (HeartGold/SoulSilver) tileset. The creator was inspired by their love for HGSS and the missed opportunity to have the Sevii Islands included in the game. After spending time remaking the islands in HGSS style, the idea of making a Pokemon fan game was born during the quarantine. The goal was to imagine what it would be like if the Sevii Islands had been part of HGSS.

Set right after the events of Pokemon HeartGold and SoulSilver, this game continues the story from where those games left off. The player begins the adventure with some familiar items from HGSS. There’s also a short questionnaire at the start to customize the experience, including choosing your starter, game version, gender, and more.

In this game, all the events from HeartGold and SoulSilver are considered “canon,” but some optional content, like certain Legendary Pokemon, didn’t happen to help create new plotlines. The only Legendaries the player catches are the game’s mascot Pokemon and Suicune. Additionally, the Celebi Wi-Fi event is treated as canon for the story.

Plot

After defeating Red in Pokemon HeartGold / SoulSilver, Eusine asks you to come with him to the Sevii Islands. The remaining Legendary Beasts, Raikou and Entei, have been sighted there, as well as Team Rocket. Rumors about Giovanni being back have begun circling around… Why is Team Rocket back again, and what could their business possibly be in the Sevii Islands?
