Story

Ten years ago, two trainers in the Novocoyan region became the first to earn eight gym badges and were set to battle for the title of the first Novocoyan champion. However, one trainer didn’t show up, resulting in a disappointing default win. The locals were really let down since they were looking forward to an exciting match.

Now, ten years later, a new generation of trainers is gearing up to take on the gym challenge. But strange lights are appearing in the sky, and some trainers are using creatures they call “not Pokemon” in battles. What are these creatures? Where do they come from? And how will they affect the journey of the new hopeful champions?
